FRESCO PAINTING WORKSHOPS

This workshop combines a creative learning experience while taking advantage of the rich artistic heritage and stunning landscape that the Veneto Region has to offer..
With its multitude of historical buildings adorned with Fresco paintings it is the perfect place to learn and be inspired.

The workshop offers full day activities in an intensive course devoted to the techniques, materials, history and conservation theory of fresco painting. The activities will include a series of lectures followed by a demonstration and hands-on practical session.

You'll learn the authentic Renaissance Buon Fresco technique. Using a mobile support you can create your own fresco to take home with you!

For your learning comfort, the Studio provides all the relevant art supplies and keeps a library of essential volumes in English in addition to a slide collection.

The courses will be held in the Palazzo by Alma Ortolan and assistants, who will guarantee individual attention in an intimate and informal group setting. Classes are in English. However, Prof. Ortolan speaks Italian, Spanish, Polish and French.

On the successful completion of your course you will receive a certificate in fresco painting techniques from Ortolan Studio.
