OUR LOGO

|
|
|
Our logo
is a detail of the head of San Sebastiano. It is a
fresco painting from 1460, that I raised in 1990 in the
cottage property of the Ghetti family in Collalbrigo,
Italy.
That discovery meant very much to me because it was a
sign of the cultural heritage that is still hidden but
surrounding us. It marked the beginning of the passion
for my job. |

SAN
MARTIN'S CHURCH AT FRATTA DI TARZO ITALY
CONSERVATION PROJECT 1995-1996
 |
In
1972 during renovation works in the small church of St.
Martin of Tours in Fratta di Tarzo, Treviso, several
traces of fifteenth century frescoes were uncovered on
the sidewalls of the choir. |
|
They lay forgotten for the next twenty years until 1993,
when I began the conservation project |
MADONNA WITH
CHILD
OIL PAINTING CONSERVATION
2007 –in progress

|
The
painting shows the Madonna with Child. The original
construction of the panel is made of two vertical wooden
boards glued together.
The visible painted
|
|
surface is presumed to date from the
19th or early 20th century.
It seems that the painting
has been badly damaged and, in order to disguise the
damages, almost the whole surface has been re-painted.
Several cleaning tests to different areas of the
painting have been carried out to examine the original
paint. The surface treatments includes removing dirt,
discoloured varnish and old additional touches. |
CHRIST
DRIVES THE TRADERS FROM THE TEMPLE
OIL PAINTING CONSERVATION, 2003

|
The
painting – about 1700 - shows Christ driving the Traders
from the Temple
In the time of Christ, the porch of the Temple in
Jerusalem accommodated a market for buying sacrificial
animals and |
|
changing money. Christ drove out the traders,
saying, 'It is written "My house shall be called a house
of prayer"; but you make it a den of thieves.'

20) |

commission of the Associazione Nazionale Alpini (National
Association of Alpine Soldiers), the Studio was asked to
examine the Church of La Madonna della Neve (14th
century) in order to find possible frescoes. |
|
The discovery came just after few hours of investigation
on one side wall.
The project is published in: La Madonna della Neve tra
le mura di Conegliano (“The Madonna della Neve” Church
along the Walls of Conegliano), S. Armellin, G. Cagnin,

FRESCO OF
SAN BARTOLOMEO - GODEGA -ITALY
|
 |
The
church of San Bartolomeo in Bibano of Godega di Sant'Urbano
dates back to 12th Century.
The fresco inside was discovered by Alma Ortolan, who is
now about to complete the restoration process. |
|
This
discovery is a great event for the history of art due to
the significance of the fresco being attributed to the
School of Pordenone around 1520.
It represents the Madonna with Child and the saints
Sebastiano, Pietro and Rocco. The conservation work is
partly sponsored by the Province of Treviso. |

The palazzo Galletti is alive with the
past and present.
It’ s the
place where people from all over the world can meet in a united
passion for the arts, culture and life.
Our story began when we started conservation work and made some
amazing discoveries.
Hidden in the walls we uncovered genuine frescoes under the
existing layers of modern concrete and paint.
Also the family coat of arms was unearthed belonging to the
Galletti’s – An important family who originating from Germany,
in Serravalle since 1360.
